About me

I am a media entrepreneur and mental health advocate with over a decade of experience in journalism, content strategy, and organizational leadership. Since 2012, I have been deeply engaged in Nepal’s media landscape, beginning my journey with the publication of HOPE, an English-language monthly magazine that reflected my passion for thoughtful, independent journalism.

In 2016, I founded Nepal Aaja, a bilingual digital media platform known for bold, ethical reporting and impactful storytelling. As the Founder and Editor-in-Chief, I have led a dedicated team of journalists to cover diverse issues—from governance and public policy to diplomacy, society, and human rights. My commitment to press freedom, editorial integrity, and evidence-based reporting has positioned Nepal Aaja as a credible voice in Nepali media.

Parallel to my work in media, I also co-founded ManoShastra Counseling & Research Center in 2019, a mental health and wellness organization that addresses the psychological needs of individuals and communities. As the Chief Administrative Officer, I focus on strategic outreach, awareness campaigns, and service accessibility, helping ManoShastra grow into a trusted center for emotional and mental wellbeing.

Through both ventures, I aim to inform, empower, and inspire—with truth at the core of every story and empathy at the heart of every service.
